The Ultimate Trade Show Experiential Kitchen
How do you create a trade show booth that's also a fully functioning restaurant? That was the delicious challenge Krispy Krunchy Chicken served up to us. They needed an experiential exhibit that would showcase their brand while incorporating a complete kitchen setup—fryers, warmers, food prep areas—all while managing crowd flow for hungry attendees waiting to sample their famous chicken. The space needed to handle high volumes of visitors, showcase the brand's vibrant personality, and meet all the technical requirements of a commercial kitchen. It wasn't just about looking good; it was about performing under pressure in the most literal sense.
Where Brand Meets Flavor
Our design created the perfect balance between showmanship and functionality. The 4-6 month project resulted in a custom two-story booth that celebrated Krispy Krunchy's vibrant identity while cleverly concealing the necessary behind-the-scenes operations. We strategically hid the prep cook and storage areas inside the booth, keeping the day-to-day food preparation in the background while highlighting the brand's eye-catching, unique, and colorful design elements. This approach protected the "secret" behind Krispy Krunchy's great taste while creating an immersive brand experience. The booth design also addressed significant technical challenges, including the substantial power requirements for a fully functioning restaurant kitchen. Throughout the show, we remained agile, making real-time tweaks to menu displays, adjusting layouts, and ensuring proper flooring protection—all the details that transform a good exhibit into a great one.
